German photographer Wolfgang Mueller creates a striking portrait of hopelessness and despair, as he documents the lives of runaway children in St. Petersburg, Russia - some as young as ten years old. Living in abandoned roof-top attics by summer and furnace rooms by winter, these children turn to drugs and prostitution to survive.
